In September 2023, Galaxy Offset commissioned a new Manroland R700 Evolution sheetfed offset press, marking a strategic investment in print quality, efficiency and long-term sustainability. Less than two years later, the results are clear: improved productivity, reduced waste and enhanced capability to serve demanding markets.
Specialising in printed cartons for FMCG, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and the liquor sectors, Galaxy Offset has praised the R700 for its unmatched stability during print runs, enabling consistent high-quality results even on complex jobs. The press is capable of handling board thicknesses from 250gsm to 450gsm, offering broad versatility across packaging formats.
In April 2025, the R700 Evo crossed a major milestone of 40 million impressions, a testament to its robust build and high performance under intensive production conditions.
