Former Manroland Site Leased to Siemens

Offenbach – 1st July, 2026

Several hundred new jobs to be created

Langley Holdings today announced that its German property holding company has signed a long term lease agreement with a subsidiary of German industrial giant, Siemens AG.

Siemens will occupy part of the former Manroland printing machinery works in Offenbach am Main and are expected to create several hundred new jobs at the site.

Under the terms of the lease, Siemens will occupy approximately half of the former Manroland works for manufacture of equipment in connection with data centres – a sector that is growing enormously due to demand from AI.

In a press release today Siemens announced that it is investing around €300 million across Germany to ramp up production to meet this increased demand. Langley recently announced that it is investing around €100 million at its power division factories, also to meet AI demand.

Roland Buscher – Chairman of the Executive Board of Siemens AG:

With this investment, we are strengthening our leadership role in technologies that form the backbone of tomorrow’s industries.”

Anthony Langley – Chairman & CEO of Langley Holdings plc:

“I am very pleased that we have reached an agreement with Siemens. It means that the number of new jobs in Offenbach will likely equal, or even exceed, the ones lost due to the restructuring of Manroland”

“With our loss-making printing machinery business responsibly exited, the group is now able to focus on the huge opportunities that exist in AI power infrastructure”

Last month Langley announced that it had reached an agreement with Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, the German press manufacturer and market leader, following the announcement of a restructuring of the Offenbach business in March.
