Mit der Format 8-Wendemaschine können 64 Seiten in einem Durchgang gedruckt werden. Diese einzigartige Wendemaschine ist in der Lage, allen Herausforderungen des Großformatdrucks gerecht zu werden. Es stehen des Weiteren im Geradeausbetrieb die Formate 7 / 7B und 7B Plus zur Verfügung.
Mit dem optionalen ROLAND InlineColorPilot ist die ROLAND 900 XXL die einzige Bogenoffsetmaschine ihrer Klasse mit einem vollautomatischen Regelsystem zur Sicherstellung der Farbstabilität. Die Produktivität kann weiter gesteigert werden, in dem man einen optionalen ROLAND InlineSlitter integriert, der den Bogen vor dem Auslegen in zwei Teile trennt. Weiterhin gibt es Einfach- und Doppellackwerke, sowie optionale automatische Plattenwechselsysteme (APL™), die dem Drucker Arbeit abnehmen, Rüstzeiten beschleunigen und die Produktivität im Vergleich zu einer Standardmaschine erhöhen
