Attention to detail is paramount in any business, particularly the fashion industry. As one of Britain's leading fashion houses, David Nieper control all design, manufacture and sale of their upmarket women's knitwear, nightwear and clothing, even down to hiring their own models to show off their wares.
But the Derbyshire, England-based company have now taken a dramatic decision to complete the missing link in the production chain by printing their catalogues and brochures in house. In 2014, they took the plunge into 'inplant' printing, with the delivery of a ROLAND 704LV HiPrint from Manroland Sheetfed, to produce nine million full colour catalogues a year near the company's base in Alfreton. The decision to purchase a Manroland press came down to quality. Christopher Nieper, Managing Director: "When you are buying fashion, colour is one of the critical factors and the faithful representation of Manroland printing was ahead of the others" he says.
