Westmont, Illinois 17 April 2012. Strine Printing in York PA upgrades an existing R907-7 LTTLV with an Ink roller blowing device to enhance the performance of the press and for the removal of ink mist when running UV. The upgrade will widen the operation window of running UV inks by controlling excess dampening solution in non-image areas and roller ends. This upgrade will make it easier to operate the press when running water sensitive UV inks while at the same time managing any ink misting that may occur. This upgrade is possible as much forethought is placed into all manroland press designs ensuring technologies and systems may be upgraded throughout the course of the presses lifecycle. This is the core of the manroland futureproof initiative and benefitting manroland sheetfed customers worldwide.
